Larry Sullivan has gathered together some excellent advice on a variety of local online marketing tactics over at his Local Biz Bits blogs. He’s gathered insight from folks like Matt McGee, David Mihm, Mark Robertson and Andrew Shotland on topics ranging from local search to online video to the emerging hyperlocal trend.
The economy may be slowing, but the world of search engine marketing and online marketing is still booming. The New York Times had a feature over the weekend talking about how businesses of all sizes are now focusing on search engine marketing and online marketing in-house.
There’s some good Twitter related posts out there right now as well. One of the single biggest factors in your online rankings and marketing efforts is trust. It’s not one of those things that can be faked or reached via short cut either. Good old fashioned trust can go a long way toward helping your site succeed. It’s with that in mind that Matt McGee gathered up the thoughts and speculation of dozens of online marketers for a fantastic look at building trust online.
